The transit, formerly as Morrow County Transportation Collaborative, transitioned to different grant funding as an on-demand public transit. The name was then changed to Morrow County Area Transit (MCAT). MCAT provides a county-wide demand response, curb-to-curb public transportation service. It is our mission to provide safe, reliable, affordable and efficient public transportation. The drivers are trained in passenger assistance, DRIVE training, CPR, as well as other trainings required by The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT). All drivers must pass a background check before employment. In addition, all drivers are drug and alcohol tested when hired and randomly throughout their employment.
